Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 18

What's one responsibility you really wish you didn't have?
Putting my damn laundry away!

What's the "holy grail" of your life?
Contentment

If your childhood had a smell, what would it be?
I don't even know how to describe it.  And the smell that instantly popped into my head isn't even from my home.  It belongs to the house of a friend I had in daycare/elementary school.  Her porch that we would play in just had this smell.  Maybe like a mix of perfume samples but also with fresh air?  I don't know how to describe it but anytime I smell it, that's what I think of.  I always said if I stayed in my hometown I wanted to live in that house...

What are the top three things you want to accomplish before you die? How close are you to accomplishing them?
My gun to head answers are:
1. Get married
2. Have kids
3. See the world

But in all honesty, sure I want those things, but I don't know that I would call them the most important things that I want to accomplish.

1. I want to find a career that I love that also allows me freedom to do the non-work related things I love
2. I do want to travel, but it doesn't have to be the whole world
3. I want to be content with wherever life takes me.  Whether that be married with kids, or single doing my own thing.

What do you wish you could tell yourself 10 years ago?  What do you think you'll want to tell your current self 10 years from now?
I assume basically the same thing... make the most of your life & it's going to be okay

In your group of friends, what role do you play?
It depends on the group & the situation... but I find I play the mom/responsible one a lot.  At the same time I also think I'm sort of the gypsy soul/do what I want friend.

Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?
Crack dip.  Just kidding.  Kind of...

Whats' the biggest lesson you never learned?
How to swim.  Is that a lesson?  It's not really a profound one but it's the truth.

What's the most immature thing you do?
I get sassy right back at my students... I also laugh at their immature jokes.  When you spend most of your time with 15-18 year olds all day long, you kind of wind up as immature as they are sometimes...

If your life was a book, what would its title be?
Ah the my life as a book question again... I think I've landed on "Bullets Dodged" except it's just going to be about guys...

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 17

If you could make a 20 second phone call to yourself at any point in your life present or future, when would you call and what would you say?
I wouldn't even need 20 seconds.  I would take 5 seconds to call myself at:
20 - "Let go" (first boyfriend)
24 - "Walk away" (Mr. Fireman)
25 - "Try harder" (Mr. Oklahoma)
27 - "RUN!" (Mr. Thought He Was The One)

What do you have doubts about?
Finding a man who can hold a conversation, is a decent human being, & is ready for a relationship

What do you regret not doing or starting when you were younger?
Studying abroad in college/joining the Air Force

If you could have a never-ending candle that smelled like anything you wanted, what fragrance would you want it to be?
Rain or fresh cut grass

What's the best thing about you?
I'm loyal to a fault

What's the best thing you got from your parents?
The idea/picture of what a real relationship should look like.  Plus, a sense of humor from my daddy & a take no shit attitude from my mama.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 16

What would a mirror opposite of yourself be like?
Short, super girly, crazy outgoing, light hair, dark eyes, loud.

Which of your scars has the best story behind it?
I don't have any awesome story scars.  I have scars from when I was really little & was super allergic to mosquito bites...I even went to the hospital for it once.  And then I have a little one on my knee from when I knelt on a sewing needle once.

What's the title of the current chapter in your life?
I Think This Adulthood?

What's the hardest lesson you've learned?
Sometimes the people you think you can trust the most, are the people who will wind up hurting you the most.

What mistake do you keep making again & again?
Giving more chances than they deserve.

What do people think is weird about you?
The way I say "bag"

When people look at you, what do you think they see/think?
I think that a lot of people probably think that I'm mean and/or stuck up.  When I first meet people I'm generally quiet & I definitely have RBF.

What have you created that you are most proud of?
My own life 1000 miles from home.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 15

What do you like most about your family?
They're very supportive...and pretty damn funny

What do you hope your last words will be?
"Rosebud"
or
"I left all of my money in..."

Just kidding.  I don't know.

What stat for your life would you most like to see?

What are three of the most significant numbers in your life?
3 has always been my favorite number & I couldn't tell you why.  I don't really have any other significant numbers so I usually also just pick 10 & 23 because my birthday is October 23.

What could you do with two million dollars to impact the most amount of people?
$2 million could feed and/or clothe a lot of people in the DFW area.

If you were put into solitary confinement for six months, what would you do to stay sane?
Sleep.  Because there is no way I could stay sane for that long if I was awake all the time.  I go crazy if I don't talk to people after a couple of days.

What's something horrible that everyone should try at least once?
Working in a customer service type job whether that be retail or a restaurant.

What fact are you resigned to?
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need.
Yeah yeah it's a song but it's still true

Have you ever saved someone's life?
Mr. Oklahoma once told me I saved him.  I've never physically saved anyone's life though.

What were some of the turning points in your life?
The first 5 things that pop into my head in no particular order:
1. Moving to Texas
2. Meeting Oklahoma/leaving Houston...kind of separate, kind of the same
3. Deciding to stop hanging out with "the plastics" (no they weren't really called that the movie wasn't out yet...) in 7th grade.
4. Waking up to a message from someone Jan 2, 2018 & after 15+ months of unhealthy back & forth finally deciding I'd had enough & flat out not responding.
5. Nash

(sort of not really related...if I wrote a book it would definitely be separated into chapters by guys...)

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 14

What challenging thing are you working through these days?
Nash is currently testing his limits.  He's also suddenly barking at EV-ERY THING!

What irrational fear do you have?
Snakes

What's the best and worst piece of advice you've ever received?
Best: Trust your gut

Worst: Good things come to those that wait/if it's meant to be it will be
**If you want something you better be willing to work & fight for it**

If you had a clock that would countdown to any one event of your choosing, what event would you want it to countdown to?
My debt being paid off (if I have to pick one, student loan)

What makes a good life?
-Supportive friends/family
-Contentment
-Adventure
-Laughter

What do you strongly suspect but have no proof of?
I believe in Nessie

What's the last adventure you went on?
I went on a couple of "shenanigan" adventures last week, bigger than that I went on a road trip to MN & back over Christmas & Thanksgiving, but bigger than that was Colorado in June.

When do you feel truly "alive"?
In the car, in the middle of nowhere, with music way up.

What was the most memorable gift you received?
The 3 things that pop into my mind:
-my parents got my brother & I a keyboard one year for Christmas
-Mermaid stuff one year for Christmas when I was a kid
-On a random day back to college my freshman year my boyfriend at the time got me a bag of sour patch kids & chocolate milk from Subway because they were 2 of my favorite things

What chapters would you separate your autobiography into?
I guess it would depend on the theme of my book.

I could do it by ages.

I could separate it by places I've lived.

I could separate it by boys.

I could separate it by random major life events.

**My friends desperately want me to do one about my love, and lack thereof, life so it would probably be the boys one**

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 13

What is something that your friends would consider "so you"?
So a couple of years ago I actually did a post on this.  Number 1 was country music, 2 was America, & for number 3 there was a three way tie between med/men in uniform/cowboys, cowboy boots, & Eric Church

What risks are worth taking?
Risks to get what you really want.  Whether that be in love, for your career, or something else.  Ex. quitting a job you hate in hopes that something better pops up.  Telling someone how you feel without knowing how they feel in return.

What can you not get right no matter how many times you try?
Tying my shoes like a normal adult...
I don't do that whole one loop and over under or whatever nonsense.  I still tie my shoes like a 3 year old (or however old kids are when they tie their shoes) with 2 bunny ears together.

If you could convince everyone in the world to do one thing at one point in time, what would that thing be?
Step WAY outside of your comfort zone.

What do you take for granted?
The ability to pretty much do whatever I want whenever I want.

What would be some of the most annoying things about having yourself as a roommate?
I think I'm a pretty great roommate.  The way I live when I live alone vs when I have a roommate is completely different.  I don't like things super messy but I let a lot more slide when I live alone than when I have roommates.  I like to think I'm really considerate when I live with others.

What's something you're self conscious about?
The way I say bag when I'm in Texas.  Sort of kidding.  It honestly doesn't bother me but the "where are you from, let's spend the next 10 minutes talking about words you say funny since you're from Minnesota" conversation gets real old real fast.

What personality trait do you value most and which do you dislike the most?
Value: honesty
Dislike: when people think/act like they are better than others

What small gesture from a stranger made a big impact on you?
Just any small random act of kindness.  The most recent was when the clerk at a gas station in Missouri ended the transaction with "I hope your day is as bright as you are beautiful" day made.

What gets you fired up?
People who lack common sense and the ability to filter the stupidity that comes out of their mouth.  AKA going off about things they know nothing about and stating it as fact.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 12

As you get older, what are you becoming more and more afraid of?
Commitment

What is one of your favorite smells?
Fresh cut grass

What song or artist do you like but rarely admit to liking?
There are in fact certain Florida Georgia Line songs I like...
"Stay"
**In my defense this song came out nearly 6 years ago before they got super shitty...**

What would you do if you knew you were going to die in one hour?
Tell as many people as possible how I feel...while eating all the food...

If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
I love my name.  My parents considered Danielle though

If life is a game, like some people say, what are some of the rules?
Play fair

Have you ever given to any charities?
My Amazon Smile & Giving Tuesday donations always go to the Travis Manion Foundation

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 11

What are some of the events in your life that made you who you are?
All of them?
Some major ones include moving to Texas to start my career & quitting two different jobs with nothing lined up.

What do you wish your brain was better at doing?
Shutting off come bed time.

There are two types of people in this world.  What are the two types?
People that like rain/thunderstorms & people that don't.

What dumb accomplishment are you most proud of?
Winning a tractor pull when I was a kid.  I even beat all the boys.  No big deal.

If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?
The golden rule

What are you addicted to?
Ranch dressing.  Good ranch dressing.

What is something you can never seem to finish?
Chapstick.  WHERE DO THEY GO?!

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 10

1. What was the best compliment you've received?
I love when people tell me that I'm funny and/or dependable

2. As the only human left on Earth, what would you do?
This is morbid & all but honestly, in that situation I'd probably end it.  I'm the ONLY one left on Earth?  All of my family & friends are gone?  There aren't even other people out there to make new friends & family out of?  What in the world would be the point?

3. Who inspires you to be better?
My parents.  Today also happens to be their 31st anniversary.

4. What do you want your epitaph to be?
"I lived, loved, & died holdin' my own"

5. What did you think you would grow out of but haven't?
Lucky Charms?  Biting my nails?  I slept with a stuffed animal that I had had since my first birthday until I was 24.

6. In what situation would you feel the most out of place in?
I was super uncomfortable being a basketball coach because I didn't know jack about it.  So in situations where I have absolutely no clue what's going on

7. What's the dumbest thing you've done that actually turned out pretty well?
I resigned from my full time teaching job in Houston in February 2015 with nothing whatsoever lined up & also didn't renew my lease because I planned on moving up to the DFW area no matter what.  3 months later I was offered a teaching job & found a roommate/place to live.

8. They say that everyone has a book in them.  What would your book be about?
Haha a couple of my friends always tell me that I should write a book about my dating & roommate fails.

9. What is something you will NEVER do again?
Let a guy, or anyone for that matter, take me for granted.  I am definitely a gives way too many chances type person.  That being said when I'm done with you I'm done with you & don't even try to come back into my life.  But I have been slowly but surely getting better at making that cut off date a whole lot sooner.

10. What do you spend the most time thinking about?
My future/money

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 9

1. Where would you spend all of your time if you could?
On the road.  I would be trying all the bars/restaurants & taking all the pictures in all the places.

2. What is special about the place you grew up?
I mean it's where I grew up.  It's home.  From an outside perspective it's nothing but a drive through town.  It's in the middle of nowhere, 30 minutes from a Walmart, with not a whole lot going on.  We didn't even get a McDonalds until I was in college.  People from the cities drive through there in the summer on their way up north to their cabins & to go camping.  We do have the Vasaloppet which is a ski race where people come from all around the world to participate in.  But unless you're big into cross country skiing I'm sure you've never heard of it, & even if you are there's a chance you haven't.  We're the sister city to Mora, Sweden and have the world's second largest Dala horse.  That's about it as far as claims to fame go.  But it's special because it's where I'm from.  It's a big part of who I am & I am the way I am.

3. What age do you want to live to?
I don't know.  100 seems so cliche.  I don't have a set age.  I want to live as long as possible while still being mentally & physically able.  I don't want to live to 100 if it means I have no memory & can't do anything for myself.

4. What are you most likely to become famous for?
Nothing.  The closest I would have ever come to "fame" would have been when I was wanting to do social media/PR/marketing for a professional sports team.  Even that wouldn't have made me famous I would have just been working for/with famous people.

5. What are you absolutely determined to do?
Leave the country again.  I haven't left the country since I was 17 years old.  I WILL see more of the world.

6. What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
I was in figure skating for like 9 or 10 years.  Is that impressive??

7. What do you wish you knew more about?
So much!  I know a little bit about a lot of things.  I wish there was one or two things that I knew A LOT about.  Specifically what, I don't know.  I wish I knew more than I do about foreign affairs/policy.  I guess I also wish I knew more about marketing.

8. What question would you most like to know the answer to?
Will I get married & have kids.

9. What question can you ask to find out the most about a person?
When I start talking to a new guy one of the first questions I ask is how they feel about rain & thunderstorms.  I feel like their answer to that question says a lot about them.

10. When was the last time you changed your opinion/belief about something major?
I couldn't tell you exactly when it happened but my political views have definitely shifted.  I specifically remember being about 17, talking to a friend at our county fair parade, & saying "I WILL NEVER VOTE REPUBLICAN!"  Okay I didn't yell it.  But I definitely made the claim that I would always and forever vote Democrat & Democrat only.  However, as I've gotten older my political views have shifted.  Now at 29, instead of hard core left I'm more middle of the road while leaning right.  Since 18 I've voted Democrat, Republican, Libertarian.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 8

1. What's the best way a person can spend their time?
Doing something they love.  Whether that be spending time with family/loved ones, working on a project, doing a hobby, anything.  As long as it's something that genuinely makes them happy.

2. If you suddenly became a master at woodworking, what would you make?
My own house!  Or more realistically I'd make this or this.

3. Where is the most relaxing place you've ever been?
Colorado always calms me.

4. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
Getting hired for my first teaching job down in Houston.  Getting that job, at that time pretty much set into motion exactly where I am right now, which I love.

5. Where would you rather be from?
Nowhere.  First & foremost I love America so I'm proud to be American.  Secondly, I liked growing up in Minnesota & a small town.

6. What are some things you've had to unlearn?
I wanted to say biting my nails but I realized I was doing that as I was typing... I'm still working on it.

7. What are you looking forward to in the coming months?
-Thanksgiving Break (2 more days)
-Christmas Break (30 more days)
-Spring Break (114 more days)
GIVE ME ALL THE BREAKS!

8. What website do you visit most often?
Facebook.  It's pretty much always open as a tab on my computer.  If apps counted it'd be Instagram

9. What one thing do you really want but can't afford?
A house.  Specifically this house.

10. Where do you usually go when you have time off?
My couch?  Just kidding...kind of.  What kind of time off are we talking.  I go back to Minnesota when I have time off for Thanksgiving & Christmas.  If it's just the weekend it's usually just getting stuff done at home or something in the DFW area.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 7

How different was your life one year ago?
Oh my goodness my life was so different a year ago & I'm so glad it's not the same.

A year ago I was subbing, was in grad school, had just quit working at the bar, was living in a house with 2 guys, & was dealing with someone who I thought was my best friend/the guy I would marry someday.

Now I'm teaching & coaching full time in a district that I finally love, am no longer in grad school, have my own apartment & Nash, & no longer have that person in my life anymore.

What quirks do you have?
Oh goodness I probably have a ton but a couple that come to mind:
-If I have more than one thing to say I ALWAYS start it with "Two things"
-If I'm in the middle of a story or conversation with someone & I have something off topic or random to throw in I always say "Side note" before saying it

What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
Platform Sketchers.  Just kidding.  I've honestly pretty much always dressed the same.  I don't even think I could tell you exactly what is or isn't in right now.

Not fashion wise...if old school dating could come back around that'd be swell.  None of this holding out for the next best thing, dating a bunch of people at once, & bullshit stages such as "well we're talking but"

What do you hope never changes?
How happy I am at my job

What city would you most like to live in?
I don't actually want to live in a city forever.  I don't mind living in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for now.  Chicago & New Orleans are my favorite cities to visit but I wouldn't want to live in either of them.

What movie title best describes your life?
He's Just Not That Into You.
I'm mostly kidding but it popped into my head right after Good Luck Chuck & I couldn't stop laughing.

Why did you decide to do the work you are doing now?
I've wanted to be a teacher since the first grade.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 6

1. Would you rather go hang gliding or whitewater rafting?
Hang gliding

2. What's your dream car?
2010-2013 bright blue Ford F150 with suicide doors.

3. What's worth spending more on to get the best?
My gut reaction was photographers.  That's true, but I've never hired a professional photographer.

My next thought was hair since I just got my hair done.  Although, I think $150 for a cut and color is a pretty damn good deal though compared to what some people pay.

So what's my final answer... pizza rolls.  Never buy generic/off brand pizza rolls.  They taste awful.  Spend the extra money & buy the Totinos.

4. What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don't get the point of?
Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING!

5. What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
Starting a family.  Still currently single as a pringle however.

6. Where is the most interesting place you've been?
Oh goodness I don't know.  I love experiencing what each place has to offer.  The top 3 places I would always go back to in a heartbeat?  Chicago, New Orleans, Charleston.

7. What's something you've been meaning to try but just haven't gotten around to it?
Ziplining

8. What's the best thing that happened to you last week?
How about this week... my birthday was Monday & my birthday is my favorite day of the year.

9. What piece of entertainment do you wish you could erase from your mind so that you could experience it for the first time again?
VIP Eric Church concert

10. If all jobs had the same pay & hours, what job would you like to have?
Event planning or PR/Social Media/Marketing for a professional sports organization

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 5

1. What's the best single day on the calendar?
October 23.  AKA my birthday.  5 more days people.  This is not a drill!
My 28th birthday in Nashville, TN

2. What are you interested in that most people haven't heard of?
Okay this question just makes me feel lame & basic.  I feel like I have some pretty standard interests.  Music & travel over everything, and then also food... Lord I love food.

3. How do you relax after a hard day of work?
Netflix & chill with Nash.  Sometimes an adult beverage is also included.

4. What was the best book or series you've ever read?
My favorite book is Kite Runner.  My favorite book series is Harry Potter.

5. What's the farthest you've ever been from home?
The summer between my junior & senior year I went to Europe for 2 weeks.  We went to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, & Lichtenstein.
On the Sound of Music stairs

6. What is the most heartwarming thing you've ever seen?
Any & every military homecoming video.

7. What is the most annoying question that people ask you?
Just one?  I'm a teacher... there are lots of annoying questions that I get asked.  I guess "what are we doing today" is up there.  Either a)class hasn't started & I will tell the whole class once it does start so I don't have to repeat myself 100 times.  OR b)I've already answered this & I wind up repeating myself 100 times.

8. What could you give a 40 minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
I could rant for a good 40 minutes on the downfall of music.  I could also go on & on about why people trying to change other people's political views ever, but especially on social media, never works & never will work.

9. If you were a dictator of a small island nation, what crazy dictator stuff would you do?
I would force people to pamper me.  Massages, play with my hair, style my hair, manis, pedis.

10. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Move away from their hometown/state.  Even if you go back, leave for awhile.  You get a whole new perspective on things.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 4

This was supposed to get posted yesterday, for no real reason other than the rest have been on Wednesdays & I'm OCD like that.  However, life happens, I didn't get it finished, & I had nothing planned for today so here we are!

What age do you wish you could permanently be?
I probably would have said 25 in the past.  It just seemed like a good age, & 23 was probably one of my favorite years overall.  However, now that I'm just 11 days short of 29 I don't think I'd pick any other age.  I like seeing what each new year brings.  Plus, I'm actually really looking forward to 30.

What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?
Vampire Diaries.  I don't even think that's relevant anymore, & there are probably others, but that's the first thing that popped into my head.  People used to ask me all the time if I watched it & the answer was no.  I actually don't watch a ton of TV.  I don't have cable which is a big part of that.  Even when I had it though I was using DVR so I'd just have binge days/nights.

What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
I would love to do something active on Saturday.  Something to get me out of the house where I can explore the area I live in.  But then on Sunday I'd like to be able to sleep in just a little & get stuff accomplished around the house.

What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don't think you could live without?
Having a smart phone is probably considered a luxury.  When they came out I thought they were dumb.  I actually held out for awhile before getting one.  Now though, I don't know what I'd do without it.  Actually, I do.  Those 8 days when I was without a phone I started going nuts.  If it weren't for the fact that I have a computer & wifi almost all the time I would have completely lost it.

What's your claim to fame?
I make a mean crack dip.  Also, I'm hilarious.  For real though, I have no idea.

What's something you like to do the old fashioned way?
Read.  I need hard copy books.  Same with articles.  I don't really like reading them online.  Even in college when the professor would just give us the link to a reading I'd go to the library & print it out.

What's your favorite genre of book or movie?
Books:  I love more of the dark/dramatic books.
Movies: Drama/comedy.  My 3 favorite movies are Friday Night Lights, Dazed & Confused, and 8 Seconds

How often do you people watch?
All. The. Time.  People watching is one of my favorite activities!!

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 3

Before I get into things you weren't wondering about me, on Saturday I will be participating in a Walk to End Alzheimer's.  If you would like to donate to the cause at all you may do so here.

1. What pets did you have while you were growing up?
We always had a dog.  At various times we also had a cat or 2, I had a pet minnow once, we had 3 horses at one time, rabbits, turtles... those all rotated in & out but a dog was always present.

2. When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Generally someone to just listen to them.  Or advice on some life problem they're having.

3. What takes up too much of your time?
Commuting to & from work

4. What do you wish you knew more about?
How to actually style my hair & do make up

5. What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
But why

6. What are some small things that make your day better?
-Coffee
-Music
-Nash cuddles

7. Who's your go to band or artist when you can't decide on something to listen to?
Eric Church

8. What's the best way to start the day?
Coffee

9. What shows are you into?
I'm currently binge watching Parks & Rec on Netflix

10. What TV channel doesn't exist but really should?
A channel that just plays 90s movies & TGIF all day every day.  Also with VH1s "I Love The 90s" series.  Basically an all 90s all the time channel.  Only 90s commercials too.

Things You Weren't Wondering Vol. 2

Last week I posted 10 things you weren't wondering about me.  This week I'm bringing you 10 more!

1. What job do you think you'd be really good at?
Anything that involves organization & planning.  Travel agent, event planner, teacher....oh wait I am a teacher!

2. What skill would you like to master?
Playing guitar.

3. What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
Seriously I have wanted to go on The Northern Trek with Contiki for years.

4. If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would the finished house be like?
I kind of love this look.  Rather than share a dozen photos for this question, I've been inspired to do a dream house post later.

5. What's your favorite drink?
I really love a good Bloody Mary.

6. What state or country do you never want to go back to?
Indiana.  Of the 29 states that I've been to, Indiana was THE WORST to drive through.  Followed closely by Nebraska.  Nebraska has the Omaha Zoo going for it though.

7. What songs have you completely memorized?
So many.  I'm kind of like a human jukebox.

8. What game or movie universe would you like to live in?
Harry Potter

9. What do you consider to be your best find?
This not so little anymore one.  I got him 3 months ago today.

10. Are you usually early or late?
Early.  Being late stresses me out.

Things You Weren't Wondering

A couple of days ago Steph posted a link to 200 random questions & then chose a few to answer.  As I have been feeling a lack of creativity & been extra busy, I loved this idea.  Plus, I love answering random questions.  Seriously, MySpace surveys were my jam back in the day.  There is one in Steph's post as well but here is a link to the questions.

1. If you didn't have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
-Depending on my mood I'd either actually get stuff done or I'd have a social life

2. What's your favorite piece of clothing you own/owned?
-Forgive the way I looked, there was a rainstorm.  I was obsessed with that black shirt.  This picture was taken in 2012 but I'm not gonna lie, if Other Woman hadn't ruined it in her washing machine with bleach I'd probably still own it.

3. What hobby would you get into if time & money weren't an issue?
-I'd do more photography.  I used to take pictures all the time & used a real camera.  Then I just started using my cell phone, & taking less pictures.  I miss taking pictures & would want a high quality camera.

4. What would your perfect room look like?
-I don't know that I'd call this perfect, but it's pretty darn close.

5. How often do you play sports?
-I coach volleyball daily but I haven't played sports on a team since this past spring.

6. What fictional place would you most like to go to?
-Hogwarts

7. What job would you be terrible at?
-Probably anything in the medical field

8. When was the last time you climbed a tree?
-Oh goodness I don't know.  I like to try to jump up & hang on branches more often than I'd like to admit, actually I got yelled at for this in Klyde Warren Park about a year ago, but I haven't climbed a tree since I was a kid.

9. If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
-Organizing & planning vacations, or organizing & planning anything really lol

10. What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
-I find the older I get the more pet peeves I have.  But I REALLY hate having to repeat myself multiply times or when people reply all to emails that don't need to be replied to at all let alone to the entire staff.
