Ten On Tuesday

 

Later on this evening I'm headed up north for what has been the greatest 4 days of my summer since 2009...and will also be, more than likely, my last year in attendance.  I'm talking about WeFest!  So instead of 10 random thoughts here are 10 of the 18 acts that will be playing.

Ten On Tuesday

 

 

1. Yesterday I got to spend an awesome day with a college roommate drinking Caribou, shopping, & hanging out on the beach.

 

2. Speaking of Caribou, I will always love it more than Starbucks.

 

3. I finally have all of my outfits picked out for WeFest...1 week!

 

4. I miss the Fireman most when he texts me "goodnight Pocahontas"

 

5. 15 days from now I'll be back in Texas.

 

6. Even though I'm probably only going once this year, I'm excited the county fair starts tomorrow.

 

7. I will do whatever it takes to win VIP or Meet & Greet passes at WeFest this year...especially for Eric Church.

 

8. I am so in love with my long hair but I keep thinking about cutting it...

 

9. I found out yesterday that my college friends Kayla & Sonja will be in our friend Heather's wedding next fall...it kinda stung although I'm not sure why because Kayla & Sonja will be in mine but I hadn't considered asking Heather either...

 

10. The thought of my high school & college friends starting to get married when I'm on the opposite side of the country makes me sad because either I'm going to go broke with plane tickets or will have to pick & choose...

 

Ten On Tuesday

 

1. 2 weeks from today I'll be headed to WeFest...& I'm not even that excited...

 

2. I lost nearly 10 lbs during the 2012-2013 school year...I've gained about half of it back.

 

3. The day I got home from the Color Run I signed up for another 5K...The 9/11 Heroes Run in Houston.

 

4. I really do love spending time with my family & MN friends but I'm missing my Texas life...3 weeks until I'm back.

 

5. I'm super stoked that I get to keep seniors next year & get to lose teaching Economics at the same time. Government all day!

 

6. I've decided to stop overthinking things & letting it bug me when people ask if the fireman & I have "determined the relationship" yet.  Things are fine just the way they are.

 

7. On that same note, despite my track record of being insanely picky I'm glad I gave the fireman a chance despite him not meeting my every tiny "requirement" because I've never met anyone as great as him.

 

8. I thought that running at 10 am yesterday would be a good time & that 7:45 this morning would be better...I was wrong on both accounts...looks like I'll be running at the crack of dawn.

 

9. I'm having a serious inner battle on whether to keep my current car or get a new one.  I flip back & forth on an almost daily basis.

 

10. I hate student loans.  I'd be loaded without them.

 

Ten on Tuesday

 

 

1. Going back to work today after a relaxing & productive 3 day weekend was awful.

 

2. I'm both sad & excited that I only have 5 more days with my seniors.  It's been one hell of a year.

 

3. I got my first VoxBox ever today from Influenster!

 

4. I seriously cannot get enough of Granger Smith.  Go check him out on Spotify or YouTube.  If you like country, you'll love him!

 

5. I just started talking to 2 guys I met online & of course I'm leaving for the summer...

 

6. On that note...my road trip home starts in 16 days!

 

7. I retake my Social Studies Content test in one week!  I'm so nervous.  I can't come back & teach in Texas until I pass!

 

8. I really want to hear from another district ASAP.  I don't know that I can really handle another year in my current district.

 

9. I keep going back & forth on whether or not I should contact principals or not.  I want to stand out & let them know I'm interested but I also don't want to be annoying considering it's only May...at the same time though I've already had one interview & 4 rejections I believe.

 

10. My sunburn is driving me INSANE.  I want to scratch my skin off.
