Surprise 3 Day Weekend

Friday

-I got my first snow day as a teacher in Texas!  Honestly I can't even remember my last snow day period & I grew up in Minnesota.  The last thing I remember is getting out early one time in 10th grade (which was almost a decade ago...)

-I didn't get out of bed until around noon because it was cold & I didn't have too!

-I drank some coffee & caught up on blogs.

-I went and got a birthday present for Mini Me as well as Valentine's Day gifts for her, her 2 brothers, & the Vday Swap I'm participating in.

-I went over to visit First Texas Friend where we (aka he) grilled, ate cupcakes, & attempted to watch Game of Thrones.  It kept freezing so we got part way into Pirates of the Caribbean when I started falling asleep & he was already out cold so I headed on home.  I would also like to add that for the first time in I don't know how long I slept 8 straight hours...I'm going to thank the 2 beers...they always make me sleepy.

Saturday

-I bought a few new shirts...not because I really had a lot of extra money or was in dire need but because I haven't bought new clothes in a long time & I really wanted them...It was Walmart BTW so on 3 shirts I spent like $20...

-I painted my nails to match my outfit because sometimes I'm a girl like that .

-I finally got my ass back to the gym & got my polar watch to work.  I wasn't there for a real long time but long enough to burn some calories & run again.

-Mr. Fireman & I went out for wings, played some Phase 10, & watched more Breaking Bad (clearly we don't do much else.)  He had to leave for work early Sunday morning so I stayed in bed for a few more hours but I had to take this picture before I made the bed.  That's HIS bed btw...yet some how I ended up with most of the bed & the majority of the pillows.  Thanks Mr. Fireman :)

Sunday

-Mr. Fireman had to leave for work at 5:30 in the morning but being the nice guy that he is, instead of kicking me out he told me to go back to sleep & stay as long as I wanted.  (That ended up being 9 am...partly because I was woken up a little after 8 by his brother having sex with his girlfriend...I then spent the next 45 minutes trying to plan a non-awkward exit seeing as they didn't know I was still there...at least I hope they would've been quieter had they known...TMI? Meh sorry at least you weren't actually there)

-I had every intention of going to the gym again but I got home, had to wait around a couple of hours for the gym to even open & before I knew it all motivation was lost.

-I went to the grocery store to buy stuff to make soup (The recipe is coming on Thursday)

-I spent the rest of the day just relaxing and scheduling blog posts through Friday...Go me!
