My Last Weekend In Texas of 2018

Another Monday come & gone.  Another weekend recap started & not finished on time.  Better late than never right?  I only have 2.5 more days of of work this week, including today, before I head back to Minnesota!  I am so ready for this break!

Friday
I pretty much gave no fucks on Friday.  I had woken up on both Wednesday & Thursday thinking it was Friday that by the time real Friday rolled around it didn't feel like it.  I was tired, my clothes annoyed me, & nothing was happening in my classes.  I came home, poured myself a class of wine, & watched Netflix until bed.

Saturday
Saturday I tried to get as much done as possible.  I went to the post office to mail off the application for my Minnesota teaching license, I took Nash to get his nails trimmed...and then spoiled the shit out of him, I picked up my Christmas cards, a prescription, and got some laundry & dishes done.  That night I went to a coworker's tacky sweater party.  I almost didn't go because it didn't start until 9 & I was only going to know him.  I'm so glad that I decided to go though.  I had a blast.  Like the most fun I've had in a really long time.

Sunday
Of course that also meant that Sunday morning was rough... Nash & I napped, A LOT.  I did manage to go out to meet up with Trey & Jennifer so that we could watch football.  Vikings won!  As they should have...  The Wild Card is ours!  When I got home from the game I napped some more & then sat down to start my Christmas cards... I honestly didn't get very far & they still aren't out.  I don't have to be into work until almost 11:30 tomorrow though because of finals so that's when I plan on getting them mailed out as well as an overdue oil change!

  1. Monday was my productive day too. Since we're leaving on Weds, I wanted all the errands done on Monday. This way, I can pack on Tuesday and not be stressed about it. That's a lie, I'll pack on Weds morning since we're not leaving until before lunchtime.

    YAY for vacation!!!!

  2. Yay for having fun at the party! That's always the best, when you don't want to do something but it turns out to be super fun! And MN teaching license, oh yeah! *insert dancing lady emoji repeatedly* hahaha
