Disasters In Dating Vol. 2

About two months ago I shared with you some Disasters in Dating Vol. 1.  I am unfortunately back to share more with you.  For your entertainment pleasure, messages I have actually received from guys... (I'm rapidly losing faith in the dating world by the way.  And if you're wondering if maybe YOU should try online dating, let these messages be a cautionary tale to you...)

OK this one was actually just the profile of a guy who tried to message me...

Another profile... get over yourself there buddy.  And for the record he wasn't *that* good looking...

No...I just don't want to talk to you...

I'm sorry Joe but you seem to come with some baggage you're not ready to leave behind...

I'm pretty sure the look on my face when I read this was pure confusion...and a solid no

a)I didn't know people still used this line b)in the history of this line has it ever worked??

Ok this shit right here... normally when I get obnoxious messages I simply delete and/or block depending on how many times they've tried to contact me without a response but this guy... First of all, you gave me 20 flippin minutes.  Second of all, it could have been any of a number of things in your profile.  Finally, after seeing how he reacted I'm glad I didn't respond initially.  He responded to me by the way basically saying I was rude & if I was really "country" I would be nicer.  No, that's not how life works honey bun...

AND this gem!  This right here pretty much made me lose all faith in online dating & a little bit in humanity...

  1. OMG! Little toe? WTF?? And the 2 guys thing. Oh I've heard it all!! So sorry sweets, I've heard one of the best ways to meet guys is to go to the grocery store on a Sunday afternoon or evening. If I wasn't married that's what I do, LOL.

    1. LOL I don't think I could meet anyone worse at the grocery store so it's worth a shot!

  2. OMG I cannot even believe some of that shit. Well, all of it, actually. Are there girls that fall for any of it? I mean, there must be, right? Otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it?

  3. Dude, I can't even believe this is real life. What about meeting someone a gym? Same as above, it can't be worse than these fucktards. I feel like I live under a rock since I never had to do deal with these things. Is there a way to report these guys?

  5. EWWWW, what is wrong with people???? Exactly why I choose to not do online dating. Of course, I'm also not doing regular dating either (where are the normal ones???)!

    1. Yeah I hid/deleted all of my profiles today. I'm taking a break from dating. If something happens to come about organically, fine, but other than that, & the date I already had set up for tonight, I'm done for awhile. I'm burnt out.

  6. I have no words! Wow. I met my husband at a place where we both used to work (not in the same department). I had been on a few weird or "eh" dates before that.

  8. Sorry to hear about all your online dating horrors...the last being the most horrific although many of them sound like stuck up assholes. On the bright side, two of my cousins found their love through online dating and are now married to the guys but I guess there's only a few diamonds in the rough. Wishing for better luck for you!
