What I Was Up To
This whole being back to work full-time is an adjustment. Between that & still being sick the first half of the week all was quiet on my blog front. I had plans of doing a post on Tuesday about being back in the classroom full-time but between being exhausted & only having spent 5 days in the classroom, I didn't really have anything to say. (The first Sh*t My Students Say of this school year will be coming the end of this month though...I've already got material.) I also had plans of writing a travel related post on Wednesday. But, again exhaustion won out. I didn't have anywhere specific to talk about yet so I was going to do a "where I hope to travel this year" post but I was too tired to think. This week was basically:
5:30 wake up
6:30 leave for work
7 get to work
7:30-1:30 teach
1:30-3 kid free time
3:30-9 get home, watch Shameless, eat supper, go to sleep
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Girl, you are so in your element! Proud of you!! Yay to a lil snow and a brew-ski out back! Cheers to the weekend!
ReplyDeleteLol the fact that it snowed & then was warm enough to enjoy the back patio in less than a week perfectly sums up Texas. Have a great weekend!
DeleteI like seeing a round up of posts - it's a great way to find new bloggers to follow. Congrats on the new job!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out! :)
ReplyDeleteAmen to bread. I would take a nice loaf of crusty bread over a bag of chips or a chocolate bar any day. Enjoy your weekend! :)
Gosh, I haven't seen Shameless in SO long... I have no idea where I even left off. But great show. And I'm jealous of your three-day weekend! I wish I had that again haha.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't watched Shameless since I think 2014 so I just started back at the beginning. I am so happy that I have a 3 day weekend. And actually, I really only have a 3 day work week because Fri I have a half day training. Hope you're having a great weekend!
