The theme for May was "Read."
Linking up with Steph.
May saw very few goals because I knew it'd be a crazy month. All I can say is that I am so happy that 3 pm tomorrow means summer break for this girl. My goals for the month were:
1. Finally finish reading The Notebook
I like the ending of the book better. Still love the movie...but the ending to the book is much better.

I'll never know if I averaged 7000 steps a day or not because I walked around for a few days not realizing my fitbit battery had died. I'm going to go out on a limb & say I didn't though...
3, Have everything for road trip packed/booked
Hotels have been booked! Suitcases are packed! 3 more days & we're on the road! (which means you have 5 more days to get your questions in!)

4. Decide what in my house needs to be put in storage/kept/donated
Memorial weekend my mama & I brought pretty much all of my stuff up to FW to be put in storage. All I'm bringing back to MN with me is clothes & those are all packed up.

While the Choose Your Own Adventure link-up will be taking a break for the summer I am going to share with you what remains on my 101 in 1001 2.0 list. The time frame to complete these goals comes to an end on the 26th this month so I'll be giving you a full recap then on how I did. (Hint: it's not going to be pretty) There are many more goals than these that I haven't completed yet but the ones I'm not listing are impossible to complete at this point in time. Even some of the ones I am going to share may not be possible but I'm not ready to completely give up on them yet. So for the month of June I would like to complete as many of these goals as possible...
1.Go camping 4 times (so far I'm at 0/4)
2. Donate $1 for every failed goal
3. Throw a dart at a map & go
4. See a play
5. Visit 2 national parks (I'm at 1/2)
6. Sleep in the bed of a truck
7. Complete a coloring book
8. Watch the sunrise & sunset in the same day
9. Own Tony Lama boots
10. Own Toms shoes
11. Tie a note to a balloon & let go
12. Learn to drive a manual (I started this last summer I just haven't mastered it)
13. Learn 5 songs on the guitar (I'm at 0/5)
14. Do a scavenger hunt
15. Do AZ photo challenge
16. Put college photos in an album
17. Stop biting my nails
18. Have my name carved in a tree
19. Go to a comedy club
20. Donate blood 3 times (I'm at 2/3)
I have plans to accomplish a few of these while on my road trip in June.
Great goals, I really love the one about seeing the sunrise and sunset the same day!
ReplyDeleteRoad trip sounds like so much fun! You can cross of tons of these while traveling. I will be holding a monthly link up for goals starting in July if your interested in continuing your goals. There isn't a theme, you just need to link up your monthly recap and new goals! Thanks for linking up with Steph and I! It has been a blast.
ReplyDeleteGlad you finished The Notebook and good luck on your June goals! Whew, now that's a list!
ReplyDeleteThe Road trip will help get a few, and hey #1 and #6 could be combined! ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! I'm glad you finished The Notebook.
ReplyDeleteI never read the Notebook but I hated the movie so I think it's one I'll pass on! Good luck on the last 101 list push, you got this.
