Time Waits For No Man

First & foremost, happy 4th birthday to my Mini Me!

Friday

I was so exhausted.  I'm tired by Friday anyway but now that softball has started it's even worse.  I was the only coach & while I pretty much had 4 of the girls be in charge of their group at each station, running around making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to for 2 hours took a lot out of me.  I pulled into my garage at nearly 6 pm & then just sat there.  Could not move I was so tired.  Once I finally got to my bed I just crawled right in in all of my clothes.  Eventually I got around to changing & then just read & watched Friends.

Saturday
I met one of my friends that I hadn't seen in forever at Mellow Mushroom for lunch.  We ended up sitting there & talking for like 3 hours.  It was nice.  I had to head to the laundromat afterwards though since I had put that off all week & had officially run out of socks. (side note: I could not wash clothes for a good month or so & never run out of underwear & yet I somehow only have 12 pairs of socks...)  After that I still had to go to the grocery store so I could get stuff to make dip for the Super Bowl on Sunday.  Horrible mistake...although I really don't know when a good time would have been.  It was a damn zoo.  I survived, made dip, crawled into bed & watched Friends.

Sunday
Sunday was such a weird day since the Super Bowl wasn't until 5:30.  I didn't really do anything but waste time all day waiting around.  I had done dishes & laundry Saturday so I had no real cleaning to do around the house.  I finally got myself out of bed, got all decked out in Seattle colors, returned my library book, then sat on my butt messing around online & then watching a couple of episodes of Friends before heading off to the party.

The game itself was definitely more entertaining than last year's game.  I even almost cried at the end which is ridiculous considering that I care about neither team during the regular season.  Also, what was with those commercials??  Why were so many depressing??

  1. Sounds like it was a good weekend. I didn't watch the game at all, not into football. I did watch Halftime which I thought was pretty good.

  4. So much on the depressing commercials. The worst part was actually having seen many of them before so it wasn't even awesome to watch the commercials. And that halftime show. It would have been excellent if I had been on some type of drug.... otherwise, WTF?

  6. I actually didn't watch the superbowl but I've been seeing a lot of people talking about the commercials and the half time show. I'm going to have to YouTube all of these things! Happy birthday to your mini you!

  7. Mmm pizza!!! The commercials, aside for a few, were just awful this year and very unmemorable. You would think since they cost so much to do that they would be so much better like previous years!

  8. Looks like a nice weekend (except that your team lost the Super Bowl). HOpe you enjoyed the game anyways!

  9. We didn't get to watch the commercials here. They broadcast the game and we were stuck with all the Australian commercials. Doesn't sound like we really missed much though. I'd rather not be sad for two reasons on game day.
