My Last Free Weekend

This was my last real "free" weekend in February & by free I mean where I'll actually be in Houston as I had things pre-planned for both Saturday & Sunday...I love being busy though.

Friday
After work I went out for drinks with some friends/co-workers.  It was great.  We haven't done any type of happy hour in a really long time.

Saturday
I woke up early to attend a staff development session.  I am so glad that I went.  I seriously wish that I could have recorded the entire thing.  The speaker was Liz Murray.  I don't know how many of you have seen or heard of the lifetime movie Homeless to Harvard (we actually watched it as a school when it came out) but she's the girl it's based on.  It was so moving.  I cried a lot, I laughed a lot.  If she is ever in your area speaking I suggest you go.  I tried to find a video of her but I couldn't find one that truly showed how great it was.
I had every intention of going to the gym & being productive, even possibly asking Mr. Fireman if he wanted to have a Breaking Bad marathon but instead when I got back home I passed out for a little bit & then never recovered.  So instead it led to a Dawson's Creek marathon party of 1.
I also baked some cookies for Mr. Fireman.

Sunday
I donated blood & plasma.
Mr. Fireman & I had a Breaking Bad marathon & watched The Walking Dead.  I've missed that show!!

    1. They are so good. They are even better because they are like $3 and fairly strong!
