Currently In October

Linking up with Anne for Currently: September Edition

Accomplishing a lot of cleaning on the weekends

Buying random things I need such as windshield wipers

Day Dreaming of Thanksgiving break (7 weeks until I'm home!)

Drinking Michelob Golden Light

Eating I made veggies & kielbasa for my meals this week

Enjoying the fact that this week & next week are only 4 day weeks for students

Feeling tired.  Always tired.

Knowing that I'm going to lose my mind if I don't get help in my 3rd period soon

Laughing at the thread between me & 2 of my college friends

Listening to my ESL kids talk

Looking for good brunch places in Austin

Loving that it's finally October...my favorite month!

Making solo happy hour plans to try out new places

Needing to start working out

Noticing that I've started eating like I'm about to hibernate

Pinning
This is the last thing I pinned.  I made it for my meals last week.  It was so good!

Practicing patience

Reading nothing.

Smelling my Cozy Flannel candle from Target

Waiting for volleyball season to end.  I love my girls & coworkers but I am SO tired!

Wanting the weekend to get here so that I can head to Austin.

Watching Parks & Rec

Wearing jeans & a tshirt from the school I work at

Wondering how far into playoffs we'll make it for volleyball.

  1. Yay October! Such good feeling to only have 4 day weeks of teaching even if for a couple weeks, it gives ya a little breather. Have a GREAT day sweets!

  6. I fully support these solo happy hours! For some reason I have no problem going to a bar alone, but hate eating at a restaurant solo. Those pork chops look delicious- I'm going to have to try them! Hope you're able to recharge and enjoy your long weekends!
