Alright so I do have 2 real cameras so if I had REALLY wanted to take pictures I could have. This weekend didn't really warrant any pictures anyway. Linking up with Biana!
Friday
The great cell phone debacle of 2017 was finally solved! Sort of! I still won't get my cell phone until Wednesday. However, 3 days after it was ordered it finally got rerouted to the correct address. It will technically arrive tomorrow but I'll be at a game & won't be able to pick it up from the office until Wednesday after work. In case you aren't keeping track like I am, that's 8 full days without a cell phone. Hello 2005.
Anyway, on with my Friday. basically it was the same kind of Friday it always is for me. Got to leave for work an hour later than normal, taught all day, & then had a volleyball game. Varsity, JV, Freshman A, & Freshman B all lost. I got home around 10, took care of Nash, & went to bed.
Saturday
My alarm was set for 4 am. Luckily Nash woke me up about 3:50 because I forgot to turn my alarm on. So happy I have no more tournaments for the rest of volleyball season. I originally thought our last game would be at 2, it was at 3. I was still home by 5 though. We didn't do nearly as bad as our last tournament but we definitely could have done better. I also started coming down with a cold/sinus infection. I'm really hoping it goes away soon. When I got home I made some tea & food and then watched the last episode of The Office. It had me all up in my feels. I took some medicine & then put on Moana since I had never seen it & everyone kept telling me to. I passed out so perhaps I'll try to watch it again someday.
Sunday
I woke up feeling like crap. Thank God this weekend was my last one with a tournament because between being at a tournament all last Saturday/being exhausted all Sunday & being at a tournament all this Saturday/being sick all Sunday, I got absolutely nothing done. I didn't even really watch football. I thought I had a solid chance of getting to see the Vikings game on TV but because KC was playing on the same station at the same time, & they're that much closer, that's the game that was on. I was fairly productive early one. I had the dishes done, grocery shopped, & soup in the crockpot by 9 am. That's about where it all fell apart though. I spent a lot of the day putting random movies on & either actually watching them (Pitch Perfect) or flat out falling asleep for 99% of it (Mighty Ducks). Around 3 I did start to feel a little less like death so I got some more laundry done & did a little planning for school this week while watching the Cowboys/Broncos game & Packers/Falcons game.
I'm hoping that next weekend is a lot more interesting for you to read. I just skimmed over what I wrote & even I was bored with it...

ReplyDeleteNext weekend HAS to be better! I potentially have a date, I don't have any work obligations, & fingers crossed I won't be sick anymore!
DeleteThere must be something liberating about not having your phone...but also nerve wracking! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
