Goodbye 2016, It's Been Real

And just like that, here we are.  Tomorrow is the final day of 2016.  Recaps have been written, goals & resolutions have been made, & tomorrow one proverbial door closes while another one opens.  I hope that no matter how 2016 treated you, 2017 is spectacular.  Personally, I feel that 2017 is going to be my year.  I also hope that y'all have a safe & fun New Year's Eve.  I'll be back on Monday to recap my weekend.  I'll be spending this NYE doing something that I've never done before in my life.  But first, I'm here to talk about my final Friday Favorites of 2016 with Amanda.

Moments in the Week
I started getting pages laid out for my bullet journal

I met up with my friend Bridgette & got super Minnesotan by getting cheese curds, ranch, & a bloody mary with a beer chaser

I got to hang out with Sonja & Kayla for a night in with wine, pizza, & talking.

Not pictured:
-I got to spend a day with Becky & her kids
-I finished reading the 6th book in the Left Behind series

Things That Made Me Laugh

(for the record I'm originally from Minnesota & despite almost 5 years in Texas I say pop)

  1. I'm strongly considering starting a bullet journal to hopefully get my brain back under control. I'm just so overwhelmed at STARTING it! The perfectionist in me just can't handle messing it up. I was glad to see a picture of a real person's journal and not one of those fancy all the drawings and colors and labels and what you see when you google bullet journal. I think I'm also intimidated, which isn't helping.

  3. We say soda in Arizona but every time I'm in Ohio visiting family they correct me, making sure I know it's pop there. I think it's a midwest thing... I thought about starting a bullet journal, but I think I would try and rip out too many pages because I messed up.

  6. Whenever I hear "pop" (which is rare in Philly), I'm legitimately confused haha. Happy New Year Bri! I hope 2107 is your year. :)

  7. I like the word 'soda' better but 'pop' is 100% the preferred term in Canada.
