The Last Week At Home

One
I had originally planned to go on this polish free kick until the ugly damage line was gone, but then I realized I was biting my nails again daily so it's back to getting painted.  I still won't be getting them done professionally until Kristie's wedding in mid-September.

Watching storms come in is one of my favorite things.  The other day Steph had posted a picture of the storm she got to see & I was a little jealous of the storm.  It's been raining here a lot lately but there hasn't been anything really dramatic roll in.  Tuesday though I got it.

On Wednesday I went to the drive-in with some friends from college crossing off another summer bucket list item.  It was so much fun.  Sonja & I had to drag the air mattress into the bathroom so that we could use the outlet to blow it up.  Then we stuffed our face with pizza & other junk food while we watched Secret Life of Pets & Central Intelligence.  I really liked both of them.  I thought they were hilarious.  The Shallows was the 3rd movie but we didn't stay.  It was 1 am when the 2nd one ended and the other 3 had to work the next day & I had an hour & a half drive home.  I definitely need to go to the drive in more often though.

Four
Jon Pardi's album California Sunrise came out about a month & a half ago.  It's amazing.  There's a post about it on my other blog here.

Five
The county fair is back in town!  Fair food is the best food.  This is all from one day...and I have no shame.  For lunch I had a pork chop & then split some cheese curds with my mama & brother.  For supper I had a loaded baked potato & then split some mini donuts with them.
