Sometimes Ya Gotta Be Boring

Technically I'm still on the weekend because I have today off as well.

Friday
I'm so rad that this was my Friday night.  Wine & Netflix.  I am falling in love with Nick Miller.  I want to find me a Nick Miller.

Saturday
Saturday was an interesting day to say the least.  What started out as a fun & relaxing day ended with my driving home with angry tears.  The incredibly short version of the story is: I went to a friend of a friend's house for a girls day by the pool.  Later on that evening a couple with a small child came over, left the child with 3 strangers (myself being one of them) & a drunk friend (the person who lived at the house) so they could go out for a few hours.  I wound up taking care of the kid all night, including feeding him at 9 pm when I found out that he hadn't been fed yet.  To top things off mother of the year is pregnant with another & kept smoking.  I was so livid that I cried most of my drive home & then again to OK on the phone later.

Sunday
I found myself watching a Fast & Furious marathon & ended the night with Pitch Perfect.  Other than going to the grocery store it was such an unproductive & uneventful day.

Except for the drama on Saturday I had an extremely uneventful, kinda boring weekend...at least I still have today!

  2. Kudos to you for taking care of the child! I hope that he/she could swim because pools make me nervous when small children are around. Have a good day off!

  3. That is ridiculous....leaving the kiddo alone, unfed, with strangers! My Mama Bear instincts would have ripped that lady a new one! Ugh people suck. I'm glad that at least the rest of your weekend was quiet and mellow!

  6. Ugh nothing angers me more than people who neglect their children, that poor kid (and one on the way!) I'm so glad you were there to make sure the child was taken care of and fed. But who knows what else goes on, and how often the kid is left unattended for. So sad :(

But yay for wine and Netflix marathons! And Nick Miller! Throw Winston in there too :-D

  7. I started watching New Girl and never got into it.. which I think is because I was feeling like Zoey D(i'm not even gonna try) was over-rated when I watched. Now that I think that had faded some, I might be willing to try again. I just see so many awesome gifs (the ultimate measurement of course) from the show and think that I might be missing something.

  8. Wow that story is crazy from Saturday. She should not be having more children. I can't believe the child wasn't feed.

So gross that the lady left her kid like that... and was smoking while pregnant. SELFISH.

  11. Some people should not be allowed to procreate. Such a shame.
