It Still Isn't Over

Once again I'm still technically on the weekend.  Today is senior skip day & I have all seniors so teacher is skipping too.  Which turned out to be a perfect decision because I then scored two interviews for today.  So that's what I'll be doing with my day.

Anyway...onto the recap of my weekend!

Linking up with Biana.

Friday

Friday was prom.  The 5th one I've attended in my life, the 3rd one I've attended as a teacher, the 2nd one I've planned, & the 1st one I planned & pulled off completely by myself.  It went well.  The kids had a lot of fun.  And it is finally over.  I got out of work at 10:30 in the morning when the seniors did so I got my nails done & my hair done before heading to the hotel to make sure everything got set up & was in place for when the students started arriving at 7.  It's always a lot of fun seeing the students all dressed up.  I even got to see a few of my students that graduated last year.

Saturday
I really didn't do a whole lot.  I did mow my lawn so that makes me seem a little productive at least.  I was so exhausted from the night before that I slept, a lot.  I woke up & left the hotel around 9, came home, & ordered Denny's to go.  I hate the sausage & bacon before I even left the parking lot.  When I got home I ate the rest & then passed out on the floor watching Hercules & then woke up as Hunchback of Notre Dame was ending.  Side note: I realized when I woke up to that movie that Hunchback is probably my least favorite Disney movie ever.  I mowed the lawn & then got some Chipotle.  Afterwards I napped again during most of 101 Dalmatians & Ratatouille.  I did get to see most of Finding Nemo though except for when I went to the store to get groceries for the week.  Go ABC Family!

Sunday
I ran to Starbucks when I woke up to get coffee & breakfast because I had a blinding headache.  I then spent most of the morning cleaning out my DVR since I will be putting my TV, along with other things, in storage at the end of the week.  I have very little left at my house as it is so I packed up a couple of boxes & headed to Dallas to hang out with & spend the night at Mr. & Mrs. Hipster's house so I wouldn't have to get up so early today for my interviews.

  7. I hope that your interviews went well!!! Is it sad that I didn't skip on senior skip day? It wasn't an "official" day off at my school and I had perfect attendance my senior year. I have never been to prom, but I can imagine how fun it would be to see all your students there!
