37 Hours In Minnesota

Weekending

I left Houston at 6 pm on Friday night, had a layover in Dallas,  landed in Minnesota around 11 pm, & got back to my hometown around 1-1:30 am.

Saturday was spent getting up at 7 am just so I could sit on my parents' front porch. enjoy the smell of fall (I haven't seen a MN fall since 2011!), & listen to absolute stillness broken up only by birds & gunshots from nearby hunters.  I definitely took a nap before heading off to my cousin's wedding that afternoon.

Sunday was spent in airports again.  My flight left MN at noon & I got back to Houston around 4.  All I did was go grocery shopping, draft my fantasy hockey team, & do some food prep.  It was a pretty packed weekend for doing a whole lot of nothing.

  4. What a whirlwind of a weekend! I'm tired just thinking about it. But it's always worth the travel (and the subsequent exhaustion) for family!
