The Truth Is...

**I almost didn't post today because Monday night I realized I hadn't started any confessions & didn't know if I could think of that many to make a good enough post**

**I got my first offer to review a product for my blog!**

**Thanks to mother nature, as well as not eating the greatest for the past week or so, stepping on the scale yesterday did not make me happy.  It was up a little from a week ago...which was up a little from what I normally am.**

**I got talked into joining a beach body accountability group for this month...**

**Also thanks to mother nature, when my daddy left yesterday morning to go back to work for almost 2 weeks, I may have cried a little.**

**I may or may not have accepted a cell phone number from a guy on Twitter**

**So far I've managed to do all of my workouts as well as my 2.5 miles everyday this month**

**My non-porno porno book (review coming soon...probably) is kind of making me want to read 50 Shades**

**I finally watched Frozen & I don't understand the hype**

**As nice as sitting at home my first week in Minnesota was, I'm so glad I am finally about to have tons of plans**

**If Kathy quit blogging I'd legit be so sad...no pressure**

  1. Have you seriously not read 50 Shades of Grey!?! I have a whole list of similar books for you once you read those, I might even venture into saying that some of them are better. Yup I said it! 2.5 miles every day! Amazing, get it. Ignore the scale that thing is the devil and I ignore it like the plague. If my pants get tight, we are in trouble.

  2. i read 50 shades and it was awful. i only read it just to see what all the hype was about and holy hell, i can't believe that woman who wrote it made all that money. my brain melted every time i turned the page and i had to throw it down because i just couldn't handle it anymore.

also, thanks for the blogging props!! i think i'm just in a funk. or PMSing. one of those things ;)

    thanks for linking up!

  3. i would be so sad if kathy left too!
i havent read 50 shades.. i read the first page and had to put it down. i enjoy those kind of books, no shame, but the first page of that book was written so poorly i couldn't continue.
omg girl. boo to the scale going up. i feel you. i lost 3lbs after australia and i found 2 of them again and it makes me want to cry and eat and not workout, which will make me gain even more.
way to go on 2.5 miles every day! i totally have not been running, see above.

  4. so many things about this post. I would be sad if Kathy left as well, I look bloated because of mother nature right now and that makes me very stabby, and I also got a couple review offers although I turned them down. Meh

  5. I have not read 50 Shades either. All of the snippets I have read online are horribly written ... not going to waste my time.

I also didn't get the Frozen hype. I mean it was an okay Disney musical but Tangled was so much better and it's not even one of their best.

  6. No Frozen for me. I don't even like to hear about it.

LOLOL @ non porno porno book. What's the book called?

Kudos on your 2.5 miles and workouts!

  9. I just got offered to do a product review post, too...The first one in a LONG time. Which product are you going to review or do I just have to be patient and wait? ;)

  10. Congrats on the first review!! And scales are just the most evil things EVER. I just judge myself purely how I feel/look in my clothes to avoid constant meltdowns haha.

  11. Getting your first review offer is so exciting! I read the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy because of the hype, and I wasn't all that impressed. The main character Anastasia drove me bonkers, and I didn't think the story line was good.
I'm with you on being extremely sad if Kathy quits blogging :(

  12. Dude, I read 50 Shades and loved it. Believe it or not for the storyline too. I think it's one of those love or hate kind of things.

  13. What is your non porno porno book called? This sounds interesting....

I really had no desire to ever read 50 Shades. I have a feeling it is way over-hyped and I hate stuff that is over-hyped.

Probably the same reason I have never seen Frozen. Oops.

I stepped on the scale this morning just knowing it was going to be awful. It was. Lay off the cheeseburgers NADINE! SHEESH!

  14. I still haven't watched Frozen but you're the first person to not LOVE it oh well, I'll watch it one day lol

  15. I never read 50sog, but I did read the Snark Squad's recaps of reading them. OMFG HILARIOUS and full of win. And so much better than being tortured by a book.

And I'll take The Little Mermaid over Frozen any day. Although the "Do you wanna build a snowman" has become a pretty regular thing out of my mouth when anyone stays "Do you wanna..." I can't help it. I love winter and snow and it's just too perfect for my life.

  17. I didn't believe the hype about Frozen but I ended up liking it a lot anyways... but I do have a thing for animated movies. It still doesn't top Toy Story or Despicable Me, though!
