Sunday Social

1. What is the most difficult thing you've been through?
Kip Moore - Everything But You

Moving 1300 miles away from all of my friends & family is definitely the hardest thing I've ever done.  The longer I'm away the bigger my internal battle on where I want to be is.  The longer I'm in Texas the more I love it & want to stay but the longer I'm away (especially when I do come back home to see people) the more I miss spending time & seeing everyone I care about on the regular.  It's even harder now knowing that when I go back to Texas even more of my friends that I've made have left Houston so there's next to no one left to even go back to.

2. What was your best birthday?

My 23rd (Golden) birthday.  I almost said it was a tie between my 21, 22, & 23 but I really think that 23 takes the cake.  It was the final birthday I celebrated in Minnesota & all of my close friends were able to be there.  We even got a free limo...granted it had to take us to a strip club but whatever...it added to the adventure.  I also celebrated twice.  Above was day 2 in Minneapolis.  Below is day 1 which was in St. Cloud (my college town).

3. What has been your favorite thing that you've done in your own city?

Hometown: Thanksgiving Eve is kind of a big deal.  A lot of people come back into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families so we all go out the night before as a little reunion of sorts.

Current town: I love going to the Houston Rodeo & concert every year.  I've seen Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, REO Speedwagon, & the Zac Brown Band.

4. What is your idea of the perfect date night?

The bed of a truck, beer, snacks or a picnic, & just hanging out talking.

5. Have you ever been to a blogging conference? If so which one(s)? If not do you want to?

I haven't but I would love to!  I really want to meet more bloggers.  I get to meet Andrea later this week at a cooking class & I'm hoping that Tiffany and I can figure something out when I head back to Houston (this is my suggesting we meet up Tiffany!) but I would love to meet lots!
