She Let Herself Go Week 4

Sunday: I went to my very first professional football game. It was the Vikings v. Cardinals. The Vikings actually won bringing their record to 3-5. I had a ton of fun & got to hang out with fun people & see one of my best friends.

Monday: I stayed at my parents' place nearly the entire day trying to work on a paper for a class that I had that night. I got more homework done sitting there in that one day than I normally do in a week or 2.

Tuesday: We had another slightly awkward dinner with the roommate. It was me, Kayla, Heather (the one where there's the tension) & Jake (a friend of mostly Kayla's kind of mine). We went to Applebees for 1/2 price apps & trivia. We won 2 out of the 3 rounds of trivia. Overall it wasn't too bad but there were def. moments where Kayla & I would just look at each other like wtf.

Wednesday: I had so much homework due. It was an intense day for me. I had a 3-5 page paper due on NSC-68 (NSC-68 is a report on the National Security Council from the Cold War). I was so exhausted the night before that I passed out meaning I had to write it all in the am before my class started at 11. I also had a summary due for another class. For the summary class I also had a research paper proposal due that I had completely forgotten about! So I had to hustle my ass to the library & pick out a book before my 11 am class so that in between that class & my other class I could type up my proposal & a bibliography. I then thought I had a couple hours in between class & work to just relax & do whatever. Wrong. I was getting ready to take a shower when by chance I looked at my schedule. I worked at 4 not 5. Meaning I had no time to do anything but change for work & leave.

Thursday: Veterans Day. I spent my Veterans Day at work. It was extremely slow. Annd yep that's that.

Friday: Oh what a day. Actually the day wasn't all that productive. But that night my cool roommate & I went to the hockey game on campus. We left at the end of the second period... we were down by 2 or 3. Then we made a last minute decision to drive an hourish to the casino. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. $20 doesn't go that far. Luckily I left with about $10. So since we had driven so far & hadn't lasted so long at the casino we stopped in my hometown, which was on the way, for a drink at one of the bars. We got hit on by these 30 somethings who were not from my hometown, slightly creepy, and pretty darn drunk. All in all I'd call the night a success.

Saturday: Another day which was meant to be a productive day. It was pretty much the anti of productive. We sat around all day avoiding homework. I then had to work 5-9 which was also very unproductive because we had next to zero customers. After work though the roommate & I made a feast of steak & shrimp.
