As of yesterday I officially am no longer a T-Mobile Customer. I am still on my parents' family plan while I am in college & they switched providers yesterday meaning I did too. T-Mobile got rid of a ton of towers in & around my hometown so my parents no longer had service at the house, or if they did they were roaming.
Well Verizon had a deal going on that lasted through yesterday where if you switched to them you got $100 back, $200 if it was for a family plan. Needless to say we finally switched. We had to wait for T-Mobile to release us so that there wouldn't be a cancellation fee. I haven't been back to my hometown yet, we met half way yesterday so I could get my phone, but so far the service seems better. I have a class in the morning that is in the basement of the library at my college & with T-Mobile I lost service the second I got to the bottom of the steps. I now have bars even in the classroom.
I also got a sweet new phone out of the deal. I had wanted to get the LG Env Touch. However, I didn't get it. No worries though. My mom wanted to get a Droid & since they were buy one get one free... I got the free one!! I am in love.
I have Verizon and love it! I have the LG Env, but decided the touch wasn't for me. Now I'm kinda wishing I had gone with that, but oh well :) I'm hoping to soon get off the family plan so I can switch providers and get an iPhone :)
