So True Tuesday

Remember on Friday when I said I was going to start pulling my Friday Favorite Funnies from my Pinterest boards because they were out of control & I wanted to de-clutter my life?  Well after that I looked at just how many pins I have in my "True Story" board & the answer was over 900... "LOL" was close behind with over 800.  I clearly used to be a Pinterest addict.  Because of this a new series is being brought to this blog called "So True Tuesday"

Friday

Being the last day before break, Friday was a really chill day at work.  I had my 1st 2 classes watch JFK documentaries but by my last class I was over it, plus they're my favorite, so we watched Free Birds instead.  After work it was straight to the airport so I could head back home to MN for about a week.  Dumb me forgot that I had a giant water bottle in my backpack because I had brought it to work so TSA stopped me.  Luckily I just had to have them throw it away & all was well.  We stopped at Perkins once I got back because we were all hungry & I hadn't been there in forever.  Finally around midnight I crawled into bed.

Saturday

I was up at 6 am so I could go deer hunting.  I did see 7 in the morning.  6 I couldn't get a shot at & the one that I did I missed thanks to the brush.  I didn't see anything at all in the afternoon.  I did get a nice long nap in at lunch time though before heading back out.  Luckily the weather was pretty nice too compared to what it had been just days before.

Sunday

I was up at 6 again to head out for the last day of deer season.  I saw absolutely nothing in the morning, hence the snowman.  I got bored so I made a little friend & played around with my camera.  It started raining as we went in for lunch so we never went back out.  After lunch I sat around & talked to my grandpa for awhile before my dad & I headed home.  I was so exhausted I barely made it through The Walking Dead.  I called CJ for all of 10 minutes after TWD before we both decided to call it a night & pass out.

American Music Awards

For the record I won't be watching.  I said if Eric Church got completely shafted at the CMAs I would never watch another award show again.  I only use watch the country music related ones anyway but I'm sticking to my word.  If Eric Church ever wins an award then I'll consider watching again.  I voted & had this scheduled long before the CMAs happened but I'm sticking to it.  I'll vote...but I won't watch until country music comes to it's senses.

It's been a hot minute since I linked up for Friday Favorites.  I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of things & have a few ideas for upcoming blog posts, plus I'm headed back to MN today which always makes me happy...and happy me likes to have blog posts.  So here y'all have it.  Some of my favorites this week.

I found this in my car from the Curtis Grimes concert.  I forgot that Scott Dean had even signed anything & I didn't even look at it when he gave it to me that night.  Apparently we both agree that Minnesota is cold.

My students have been working on a presidential report card project where they have to talk about how their president has fulfilled the roles of president & then grade them...some dear kid did this...

My classroom has once again turned into a clothing store.  I'm senior sponsor & their shirts are now available to be purchased.

The food class makes different meals throughout the school year to raise money.  The food was bomb!  I almost didn't buy one because I did last year & I never even got my food.  My 2 favorite kids asked me though & I couldn't say no.  The roast beef, peach cobbler, & mac and cheese were to die for.  I couldn't even finish all of the food.

My pinterest boards are out of control.  I have 29 boards & over 7500 pins...  There are certain boards like "True Story" "LOL" & "Quotes" that serve absolutely no purpose.  I pin them & then never look at them again because why...I can't do anything with them.  I'm already in the process of turning the quotes one into a coffee table book & then I'm going to delete all of those.  As far as "True Story" & "LOL" are concerned...I'm going to just start pulling my Friday Favorite Funnies from those & then deleting them because I need to de-clutter my life ha.
